This webinar, presented by WJE architects Renae Kwon and Joe Zale, gives an overview of masonry repair basics. Joe and Renae provide a high-level overview of several masonry topics, including general brick and mortar characteristics, single wythe wall construction, typical lateral anchorage methods, accommodating moisture/thermal movement, sheet metal flashing details, and coatings. WJE project examples will also be used to illustrate best practices.
