WJE is a company of nearly eight hundred professionals united by a shared commitment to our Mission, Vision, Values, and other key aspects of our culture and business. We strive to speak with one voice on subjects that are fundamental to who we are as a company.

At the same time, we are also a diverse group of people with different backgrounds, interests, beliefs, and personal characteristics. In this regard, we are a collection of many voices. We believe our many voices make us a stronger and more vibrant workplace—one that reflects the diversity of our practices, our clients, and our communities.

That's why we continue to recruit and develop an ever more diverse group of C2E2 employees. WJE partners with university and college organizations focused on diversity in our industry, including the National Society of Black Engineers; Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers; Society of Women Engineers; and Out in Science, Tech, Engineering & Mathematics. We are always looking for talented additions to our team and are committed to being a great place to work for exceptional professionals from all backgrounds and communities.

Internally, employees across our 30+ offices build connections and community with one another through employee-initiated networks (EINs)—peer-to-peer resource groups open to all staff. Organized by and for employees, EINs related to ethnicity and race, LGBTQ+ employees, working parents, personal finance, travel, and more enhance our many voices and strengthen relationships throughout our company.

Professional Development

WJE is invested in our internal employee learning and development opportunities (e.g., a well-funded internal program that funds any employees’ efforts to perform technical research) and our assistance for formal educational programs related to an employee’s current position or a probable future assignment. WJE is also continuing to reimburse our employees’ expenses for continuing education and professional enrichment activities, membership in qualified professional organizations, and job-related certifications and registrations.
