Timothy M. Crowe

Associate Principal


Since joining WJE in 1990, Timothy Crowe has served as project manager for the evaluation and repair of hundreds of historic and contemporary building structures and cladding systems. Cladding systems include brick, stone, terra cotta, and precast and cast-in-place concrete. He has assessed structural systems and distress conditions for timber, concrete, and steel building structures, including damage resulting from construction error, wind, ice, snow, and fire. Mr. Crowe has supervised the preparation of contract documents and performed construction observation services for buildings ranging from churches to high-rise office towers.

Prior to joining WJE, Mr. Crowe worked as a design structural engineer from 1987–990 at Perkins & Will, Inc. At that time, Mr. Crowe performed analyses, including lateral load, gravity, and foundation system designs on concrete and steel-framed buildings ranging from three to seventy stories.
