Kerbein Joins Fire Protection Practice
We are pleased to announce that Bill Kerbein has joined WJE as an Associate III in our Fire Protection and Life Safety practice. Bill has more than eighteen years of fire protection system design experience, including high-rise towers, educational occupancies, airport terminals, industrial buildings, warehouses, amusement halls, historic buildings, big box retail stores, and other large-volume facilities.
In addition, Bill’s experience includes fire sprinkler and fire alarm system design. Bill is proficient with BIM coordination, producing hydraulic calculations, conducting waterflow tests, and performing site surveys for new and existing projects.
“Bill brings an additional level of fire protection system design experience to WJE and strengthens our ability to serve our clients,” said Carl Baldassarra, principal and manager of the firm’s Fire Protection and Life Safety practice. “Bill’s expertise will fortify WJE’s commitment to prepare quality design documents."
Prior to joining WJE, Bill worked at Jensen Hughes. He is a member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers and the National Fire Protection Association. He is based in WJE’s San Diego office.
