Stephen B. Schmitt, Jr.

Experience

Stephen Schmitt, Jr. has more than ten years of experience in condition assessment, field investigation, repair and rehabilitation design, and construction period services, particularly for reinforced concrete and masonry building structures. He has developed expertise in fall protection requirements for elevated work surfaces, as well as the evaluation and analysis of facade access equipment.

Prior to joining WJE, Mr. Schmitt worked as a graduate research assistant in the Multi-Axial Full-Scale Sub-Structures Testing and Simulation (MUST-SIM) Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He was named a recipient of the Roy S. Carver Graduate Fellowship in 2006.
