WJE Welcomes Pavement Engineering Expert, Jim Mack

We are pleased to share that Jim Mack has joined WJE as an Associate Principal in our Houston office.

Mr. Mack brings more than thirty-five years of experience in pavement engineering, encompassing pavement and rehabilitation design, construction, forensic evaluation, pavement management, and materials specification and evaluation. His work also includes expertise in life-cycle cost analysis and environmental life-cycle assessment.

Throughout his career, Mr. Mack has demonstrated leadership within the pavement and concrete industry, serving in key roles across numerous national and state organizations, including as chair of the American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA) Board of Directors in 2019. He has authored more than thirty-five technical papers, articles, and reports and is a frequent presenter on topics such as concrete pavement design, materials, and sustainability. Before joining WJE, Mr. Mack worked in the cement and concrete industry, partnering with state agencies, municipalities, and industry professionals to advance cement- and concrete-based solutions for a wide range of pavement applications.
