Meinheit Receives SEAOI Special Award
WJE Principal Donald Meinheit has been awarded the John F. Parmer Award from the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois (SEAOI). Dr. Meinheit has long been associated with the precast concrete industry and is an expert on precasting, precast concrete materials, headed stud anchorage design, and architectural precast concrete. He has also served as project engineer and project manager on numerous collapse and failure investigations, laboratory test programs, and a variety of other structural and material evaluation projects.
The John F. Parmer Award is presented to a structural engineer in recognition of outstanding lifelong contributions in the field of structural engineering. The 2019 SEAOI Special Awards will be given at the Annual Awards Banquet on June 22 at Ignite Glass Studios in Chicago, Illinois.
