Indianapolis Staff Help Local Homeowners
Indianapolis staff recently volunteered with NeighborLink Indianapolis, a nonprofit organization providing free home repairs to local homeowners who are low-income seniors and individuals with disabilities.
The organization's efforts focus on critical home repairs that allow at-risk homeowners to age in their own homes and to work with the county health department to make home repairs to avoid citations and fines being issued to homeowners.
During the event, the team helped demolish a homeowner's carport that needed to be taken down and replaced broken locks and doorknobs on their front door.
