Congregation Sherith Israel Receives ASCE Award

Congregation Sherith Israel in San Francisco, California, recently received the ASCE Region 9 2018 Outstanding Project Award in the Historical Renovation Project category. As the structural engineer on the project, WJE’s seismic rehabilitation design achieved full compliance with the required codes without disturbing the historic interiors and also supplemented story shear strength. The ASCE award was presented on March 29 at the Region 9 Awards Dinner in San Diego, California.
