Austin Staff Build Bridges at STEAM Event

WJE Austin staff members Armando Diaz Perez, Stephen Foster, and Melannie Ruiz Moreno hosted an "Impossible Popsicle Bridge Challenge" STEAM enrichment cluster at Joe Lee Johnson Elementary School in Austin, Texas. Second- through fifth-grade students learned the engineering fundamentals of truss bridges and helped design, build, and load test their own popsicle bridges.
