Experience

Nicolas Tessener specializes in building enclosures, facade assessments, and structural analysis involving a variety of building types from single-family residential to high-rise commercial buildings. Mr. Tessener has performed investigations, repair design, and construction observation services for a variety of facade and structural systems, including mass masonry and cavity walls.

Prior to joining WJE, Mr. Tessener was a forensic engineering analyst involved with construction litigation, primarily related to building enclosure failures and construction deficiencies. In that role, he regularly participated in analysis of as-built conditions relevant to industry and code requirements and structural analysis of existing building systems to determine adequacy. Mr. Tessener has also worked with transportation firms to design roadways and evaluate existing transportation structures.
