
Experience
Jeffrey Sutterlin is an architectural engineer who specializes in the design, investigation, testing, and repair of building enclosures. Mr. Sutterlin’s expertise includes the evaluation of new and existing building enclosures with respect to their control of and response to interior and exterior environments, including air, moisture, thermal, and structural loadings generated by those environments and from within the enclosure.
Mr. Sutterlin has experience with the assessment of masonry, concrete, terra cotta, stucco, limestone, EIFS, metal and HPL panel, glass facades, and roofing. His project work has included design assistance, peer review services, development of QA/QC protocol, observation and troubleshooting of performance mock-ups, shop fabrication and construction, water leakage investigation, field performance verification testing, facade assessment, and repair and rehabilitation design for various building types and enclosure systems. Mr. Sutterlin has also coauthored multiple columns in Construction Specifier magazine on the subject of building enclosure performance.
