Heidi L. Mase

Experience

Heidi Mase has broad-based experience in architectural and structural services. Since joining WJE in 2009, Ms. Mase has participated in field investigations, structural analysis and design, repair document preparation, construction observation, and field testing on several different structure types ranging from historic wood-framed, masonry buildings to modern precast structures. Her primary focus is roofing and waterproofing, investigating and designing repairs for water infiltration and other construction-related issues.

Prior to joining WJE, Ms. Mase worked in the structural engineering group at Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill, LLP (SOM) in Chicago, Illinois. While at SOM, she was involved with structural designs and participated in progressive collapse studies. While attending graduate school at the University of Illinois, Ms. Mase served as a teaching assistant for a concrete design course.
