Experience
Heidi Mase joined WJE in 2009 and has broad-based experience in architectural and structural services. Ms. Mase has participated in field investigations, structural analysis and design, computer modeling, repair document preparation, construction observation, and field testing on structure types ranging from historic wood-framed, masonry buildings to modern, precast structures. She is proficient in the use of AutoCAD, SAP2000, and Google SketchUp.
Prior to joining WJE, Ms. Mase worked in the structural engineering group at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in Chicago, Illinois, where she was involved with structural designs and progressive collapse studies. While attending graduate school at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Ms. Mase served as a teaching assistant for a concrete design course.
