Timothy M. Penich

Experience

Timothy Penich has been involved in several building repair and historic preservation projects since joining WJE. His historic preservation experience includes working on historic structure reports, Cultural Landscape Reports, Historic American Building Surveys, National Register Nominations, and architectural historical surveys of rural and urban structures and districts. This work has required him to perform surveys of historic buildings and archival research and to write historical and descriptive narratives.

In addition to his historic preservation work, Mr. Penich has participated in roof and masonry investigations and preparation of construction documents for roof replacement and has performed quality assurance during construction. He also took part in several surveys of existing buildings and numerous water penetration tests. Prior to joining WJE, Mr. Penich participated in the Historic American Building Survey of Library Hall (Altgeld Hall) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
