Rocco C. Romero

Experience

Rocco Romero joined WJE in 1989 and has since been involved in more than five hundred investigations working in WJE offices in Chicago, Honolulu, and Seattle. He specializes in the investigation and repair of exterior building systems, specifically in the investigation of various waterproofing, roofing, cladding, and window systems. Mr. Romero’s project experience comprises a variety of tasks, including visual inspections and condition surveys, roofing and waterproofing failure investigations, evaluation of distressed and deteriorated conditions, water infiltration testing, repair design and construction document preparation, and field observation during construction.

Mr. Romero provides litigation support services for projects that involve inspection, materials testing and evaluation, applicable code review, repair recommendations, and scope of work development. His recent projects include municipal buildings, mid-rise apartment buildings, and condominium complexes.
