Peter S. Nelson

Experience

Since joining WJE in 2009, Peter Nelson has gained experience in condition assessment, structural evaluation, and repair and rehabilitation design. He has investigated multiple failures involving concrete, wood, masonry, and steel structures. Mr. Nelson also has experience with a variety of facade evaluation and repair projects, including concrete, masonry, and glass and aluminum curtain wall systems.

Prior to joining WJE, Mr. Nelson conducted undergraduate and graduate-level research at the Army Corps of Engineers research facility in Champaign, Illinois. His research focused primarily on testing wood shear panel walls and large-scale shake-table testing.
