Nicholas G. Cramsey

Senior Associate


Nicholas Cramsey has expertise evaluating many types of historic and contemporary building enclosures including glass and aluminum curtain walls, thin stone veneers, stone and brick masonry, terra cotta, and skylights. Prior to joining WJE in 2017, he designed new building enclosures, prepared remedial designs for underperforming enclosures, performed facade assessments, and investigated performance issues on projects.

Mr. Cramsey also participated and managed projects involving investigations of structural systems, analysis of existing structures, litigation support, and adaptive reuse of existing structures. He has experience with structural systems constructed with steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.

Mr. Cramsey has authored a paper related to glass design titled “Toolbox for Glass Design” in 2014 and over the past two years has often presented the ASCE-sponsored webinar “Glass and Glazing: Design and Detailing.”
