Lorintz B. Gleich

Associate Principal and Associate Unit Manager


Lorintz Gleich joined WJE in 2017 and has conducted a wide variety of structural investigations, including design of repairs and modifications. His experience includes various structural materials, including concrete, wood, masonry, steel, and aluminum. Mr. Gleich also has experience with fall protection system design and evaluation, including in situ load testing of fall protection systems.

Prior to joining WJE, Mr. Gleich served for eleven years as a United States Army Engineer Officer. During the last three of those years, he served as an assistant professor in the U.S. Military Academy’s Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering, where he taught Design of Reinforced Concrete and Masonry Structures, Structural Analysis, and Fundamentals of Engineering Mechanics. Mr. Gleich also led research projects optimizing ultra-high-performance concrete mix design and full-scale testing projects of concrete bridge piles with stainless steel prestressing strands.
