Experience

Lee Eckert specializes in building enclosure investigation, evaluation, design, and repair. He has experience in the major aspects of project delivery including initial investigation and field testing, repair design, construction document preparation, and construction contract administration. Mr. Eckert’s focus ranges from evaluating design ideas for new construction, providing litigation support services for cases related to construction defects, identifying the causes of failures, and designing solutions for rehabilitation.

Mr. Eckert’s building enclosure experience includes the investigation, evaluation, and design of a variety of facade systems including curtain wall, storefront, stucco cladding, EIFS, insulated metal panels, glass-fiber reinforced concrete, precast concrete, and terracotta. He also has experience with waterproofing and roofing systems including pre- and post-applied below-grade waterproofing, traffic coatings, hot rubber, single-ply, modified bitumen, concrete tile, liquid-applied, and intensive green roofing.
