Experience

Kyle Tasik specializes in architectural investigation and design of various exterior building enclosure systems and materials. Since joining WJE in 2018, Mr. Tasik has been involved in numerous projects to broaden his experience and skills, including building enclosure commissioning, historic preservation, facade assessments, leakage investigations of various enclosure systems, roofing assessments, and structural testing. He also conducts and observes facade performance testing, develops design documents, and provides construction observation services.

Mr. Tasik has experience with many new and existing building types, including low- and high-rise residential, commercial, healthcare, and institutional. He regularly performs evaluations of masonry, stucco/exterior insulation finish systems (EIFS), glass facades, and steep-slope and low-slope roofing systems.

  • Penn Medicine Radnor – Radnor, PA: Enclosure consulting and construction quality assurance services for 250,000-square-foot multispecialty ambulatory center
  • Longwood Gardens West Conservatory - Kennett Square, PA: Enclosure consulting and construction quality assurance services for 155,000-square-foot addition (consisting of three buildings) to the botanical garden campus

 

Historic Preservation

  • William H. Gray III 30th Street Station - Philadelphia, PA: Facade restoration,  including historic windows; construction observation for Amtrak’s transportation hub

    Vertical Screen, Inc. - Warminster, PA: Investigation and repair design of roof structural insulated panels (SIPs)
    Penn State at the Navy Yard - Philadelphia: Condition assessment, repair design, and construction observation for existing TPO roofs, including localized replacement of deteriorated SIPs
