Experience

Konrad Gabhart specializes in forensic evaluation of existing structures. Since joining WJE in 2022, Mr. Gabhart has been involved with evaluations of distressed buildings, building components, and framing to evaluate damage from hurricanes and tornadoes, as well as the investigation of construction, material, and design defects. He has also investigated buildings and other structures with distressed or deteriorated facade cladding and has participated in field investigations related to water leakage in masonry walls, windows, and doors.

Mr. Gabhart’s responsibilities have included inspecting existing buildings, water testing of wall systems and windows, developing investigative reports, repair design and construction document preparation, and performing construction observation and administration. Prior to joining WJE, he had five years of experience in masonry restoration contracting.
