Experience

Jo Madrid is involved in a broad range of services encompassing new and existing building enclosures. Her projects include investigation, testing, analysis, repair design, and observation services during construction. Since joining WJE, Ms. Madrid has gained valuable experience in assessing building facades using nondestructive and destruc­tive testing techniques for analysis. She has also consulted on water testing of building envelopes to determine leakage sources.

Prior to joining WJE in 2019, Ms. Madrid worked and co-owned an architectural firm in Mexico that specialized in design-build residential projects. The firm’s services included design review, cost estimating, project management and construction services, and overview through the one-year warranty period. During her graduate studies, Ms. Madrid worked as an architect in the design area at Corgan Associates.
