George Reo

Associate III


Since joining WJE, first as an intern in 2017, George Reo has participated in a variety of projects involving the laboratory evaluation and characterization of construction materials. His work includes petrography of concrete, mortars, dimension stone, aggregate, and other building materials. Mr. Reo also has field experience assessing abrasive cleaning techniques and retooling trials for restoration of historic granite façades. 

Prior to joining WJE, Mr. Reo participated in graduate studies focusing on optical mineralogy, petrology, geochemistry and economic geology. His continued graduate research combines experimental method development and microanalytical techniques (electron probe microanalysis and laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry) to construct thermodynamic models of precious metal enrichment in magmatic sulfide ore bodies.
