Experience

Gary Wentzel has extensive experience with masonry systems, including the investigation and repair of distressed brick, stone, and concrete masonry cladding, as well as with water leakage through barrier and cavity wall cladding systems for contemporary and historic buildings. He has performed architectural and structural investigations involving various materials and systems, including structural steel, cast-in-place concrete, precast concrete, expansive grouts, cast stone dimension stone, terra cotta, terrazzo, resilient flooring, glazed curtain walls and windows, membrane waterproofing and roofing, metal roofing, architectural metal, flashings, and weather-resistive barriers.

Mr. Wentzel has expertise in managing all phases of investigation, repair design, and construction. He leverages this breadth of experience to provide consulting services for the design of new building envelope systems and litigation support as an expert witness for construction-related claims.
