Drew Witte

Experience

Since joining WJE in 2024, Drew Witte has gained experience on projects related to construction materials, including laboratory performance testing of various concrete, ceramic, and clay samples. He has performed nondestructive condition assessments of civil infrastructure and associated service life prediction of reinforced concrete structures.

Prior to joining WJE, Mr. Witte conducted research on microscopic characterization of supplementary cementitious materials and designed and evaluated low embodied carbon concrete mixtures. His research focused on characterizing the reactive amorphous phases present in coal fly ash using confocal Raman spectroscopy combined with local SEM-EDS.
