B. Joel Hackett

Senior Associate


Joel Hackett‘s projects are primarily comprised of failure investigations, repair and rehabilitation design, construction deficiency evaluations, structural condition assessments, and litigation support.  Mr. Hackett has acquired an in-depth technical knowledge of multiple building assemblies and materials, including wood construction, reinforced concrete, prestressed and post-tensioned concrete, masonry, and structural steel.

Mr. Hackett’s experience includes working on various structure types including multi-family residential buildings, commercial buildings, parking decks, warehouses, and power plant facilities. He also has expertise in preparing construction documents, providing construction administration services during repair implementation, using nondestructive evaluation methods during investigations, and performing structural analysis.
