Michael C. Duncan

Experience

Michael Duncan has expertise in building enclosures with an emphasis on the evaluation and testing of windows, curtain walls, storefront systems, and the interaction of these systems with surrounding facade elements. He brings a practical, hands-on approach to the evaluation of building components and assemblies. Mr. Duncan’s projects also include wood and aluminum window systems, masonry facade systems, and various other cladding types. These projects have ranged from investigations of aging facades to work on new construction projects. He has participated in numerous facade investigations where he has performed water penetration testing and design peer reviews. Mr. Duncan has also presented at seminars and meetings on facade-related topics, including typical window performance and detailing problems.

Prior to joining WJE, Mr. Duncan spent several years working for his family-owned construction company, where he obtained an overall understanding of construction practices and procedures.
