WJE Receives NCSEA 2017 Excellence in Structural Engineering Award

WJE’s work on the Duke University Chapel has been awarded the National Council of Structural Engineers Association’s 2017 Excellence in Structural Engineering Award in the Forensic/Renovation/Retrofit/Rehabilitation Structures up to $20 Million category. The renovation project consisted of a close-up visual inspection of the chapel’s vaulted ceiling, materials testing, and drawings and specifications to repair distress conditions in the stone arches.
