Washington, D.C. Team Marks Tenth Year at Breakthrough T1D Real Estate Games
Our Washington, D.C. office celebrated a milestone this year, returning for its tenth year of participation in the Breakthrough T1D Real Estate Games, an annual charity event that brings together construction companies, engineering and architecture firms, property owners, and property managers for a day of friendly competition in support of Type 1 diabetes research.
The games featured a full slate of activities, from the classic sack race to pickleball, giving teams across the region's real estate and design-build community a chance to compete while raising funds for a shared cause. We brought our usual competitive spirit to the field, successfully defending our first-place title in the "Puzzle Me This!" challenge.
This year's event raised $81,288 for the Capitol Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, supporting critical research and services for individuals and families living with Type 1 diabetes.
The teamwork brought everyone together for a day of fun in support of a great cause.
