Paper Authored by Plemic and Andrews Wins Award
WJE Associate Director Blake Andrews and WJE Principal and Director of International Operations Petar Plemic won Elsevier, Ltd.'s Construction and Building Award for the Best Paper on the Use of Materials, presented at the recent Structural Faults + Repair 2018 Conference in Edinburgh, Scotland. The award was presented at the conference's reception and awards ceremony on May 15. Blake also co-chaired the session "Extending the Life of Concrete + CFRP & GFRP" at the conference, where he and Petar presented their paper "Use of GFRP Bars to Reinforce an Elevated Slab Subject to Vibratory Loads and Severe Chemical Attack."
