Susannah Davis

Experience

Susannah Davis joined WJE in 2022 as an experienced field engineer and building envelope consultant. Ms. Davis’s work focuses on assessing, repairing, and replacing existing facade and roofing systems, emphasizing public projects. Her time as a field engineer on Boston’s MBTA Green Line Extension project informs her current construction period services work.

Ms. Davis favors a materials-centered approach to building envelope systems. Her roofing experience includes historic slate, lead and zinc-coated copper, asphalt shingle, modified bitumen, TPO, and PVC roofing. Her facade experience includes historic brownstone, limestone, precast concrete, brick veneer, and composite metal panels. Ms. Davis is currently pursuing a master’s degree in plastics engineering, deepening her expertise in the properties and interactions of membrane, sealant, and insulation technologies.
