Experience

Paul Hise joined WJE in 2006, bringing more than twenty-eight years of architectural, design, consulting, project management, and construction contract administration expertise. In his role as project manager for numerous large-scale roofing, waterproofing, and building enclosure projects, Mr. Hise has served as the prime consultant as well as subconsultant on architectural teams. His practice has focused on assessment, design and construction document preparation, and construction administration for commercial and institutional clients, and he has specialized expertise in addressing the challenges that arise in roof replacement on occupied buildings. Mr. Hise’s holistic approach to peer review of new projects has benefited owners, contractors, and architects, and he works collaboratively with the project team to achieve better performing building enclosures. Mr. Hise is able to respect and preserve aesthetic and artistic design concerns, while balancing the pragmatic constraints of budget, schedule, and requirements of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
