Mark A. Churpek

Associate Principal


Mark Churpek joined the Cleveland office of WJE in 2005 and is experienced in forensic engineering investigations, rehabilitation, and repair design of structural systems and facades. His past projects include investigations of structural failures, construction defects, fire damage, natural disasters, material failures, and deteriorated building conditions for historic and contemporary structures. Mr. Churpek’s experience also includes condition assessments, prepurchase surveys, construction observations, and litigation consulting. He has examined and evaluated steel, concrete, wood, and masonry components of various types of residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. Mr. Churpek has also been involved with the design, evaluation, and certification of facade access and fall protection systems.
