Keri L. Yin

Associate II


Keri Yin is experienced in the investigation, evaluation, and repair of new and existing structures. Since joining WJE in 2017, Ms. Yin has performed investigations and analysis on steel, concrete, and wood structures. To aid in understanding the behavior of complex structures, she has utilized computer analysis software on projects. In her time with WJE, Ms. Yin has also gained experience in assessment of building envelopes for historic buildings and new construction, provided construction administration services for the execution of repair designs and has participated in the investigation of waterproofing systems.

Prior to joining WJE, Ms. Yin obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in structural engineering from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). During her time at UCSD, she focused on structural analysis and design of steel and concrete civil structures subjected to seismic activity. Ms. Yin developed and tested a microconcrete mix to be used to create small scale models for testing. She utilizes these experiences for projects at WJE to assess the capacity of existing structures and to confirm the validity of repair designs.
