Daly Yates

Experience

Since joining WJE in 2017, Daly Yates has worked on a variety of projects, ranging from building enclosure assessments to wind turbine deconstruction and testing. He specializes in assessment work utilizing industrial rope access techniques and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS/drone). Mr. Yates is experienced with a multitude of construction materials, including masonry, stucco cladding, roofing, metal roof/wall panels, sheathing, waterproofing, and concrete.

Prior to WJE, Mr. Yates worked as a general contractor in new construction, renovation, subcontractor management, job site phasing, safety, and scheduling. His previous project work includes electrical utility upgrades at NASA mission control, offshore oil and gas facility spill response, and several remodels on the University of Texas at Austin campus. Mr. Yates has gained valuable insight and utilizes his prior experience in the field, assisting with construction document creation, project administration, field observation of work-in-progress, and nondestructive testing.
