Experience

Andrew Jenkins has participated in the in-depth investigation and rehabilitation of multiple precast concrete structures. This has included various types of condition assessments utilizing both destructive and nondestructive testing, and observation services during construction.

Prior to joining WJE, Mr. Jenkins worked for the Kansas Department of Transportation, where he was involved with concrete materials research and provided technical field services. His projects there included evaluation of new concrete materials and test methods, condition assessments and failure investigations of pavements, bridges and other transportation facilities, and concrete material and/or mix design services during construction, including guidance related to concrete material properties and proportions, specifications and/or materials testing. Mr. Jenkins also developed and administered specification and concrete mix design courses as part of continuing education efforts.
