Nathan J. Harres

Experience

Since joining WJE in 2010, Nathan Harres has participated in a wide range of building envelope investigations and repair projects. He has been involved in several large-scale restoration projects and has performed numerous water leakage investigations, including projects involving difficult access (rappelling) techniques. Mr. Harres has performed testing of exterior cladding and roofing systems in accordance with ASTM test standards.

Mr. Harres has particular expertise in exterior cladding issues and has experience in the evaluation of a variety of materials, including brick masonry, terra cotta, and stone. He has participated in projects consisting of design and preparation of drawings and specifications for facade restoration of historic buildings and masonry rebuilding and repair. Mr. Harres has also been involved with the assessment and repair design of roofing and waterproofing systems, EIFS systems, and windows.
