Experience

Kimball Beasley has more than forty years of experience in investigation and repair design for failures and performance problems involving various building components and materials. These problems include serviceability and stability failures for building wall systems and structural elements. His projects total more than 1,600 since 1973 and include failures caused by deficiencies in design or construction or deterioration of building materials, such as stone, brick, terra cotta, or concrete. Mr. Beasley also frequently investigates failures of traditional and contemporary building facades. He has extensive experience with diagnostic testing to investigate causes of building envelope failures and water infiltration. He has served as a consultant and expert witness at trial, arbitration, and mediation on numerous projects. Mr. Beasley has authored more than thirty technical papers, journal articles, and book chapters and is a frequent speaker at professional societies and universities.
