STRUCTURE The Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, designed by landscape architect Lawrence Halprin for the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial Design Commission, was constructed in 1997. The memorial is located along the Tidal Basin between the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials. The Roosevelt Memorial consists of a series of outdoor "rooms" commemorating the four terms of Roosevelt's presidency. These outdoor rooms incorporate stone walls, plazas, waterfalls, pools, and planting to integrate with the Tidal Basin landscape features.
SCOPE OF SERVICE Provided technical review, developed details, and prepared technical specifications for a variety of materials including:
