Washington, D.C. Office Management Changes Announced

WJE is pleased to announce the promotion of Dan Lemieux to the position of Director of International Business Development. Due to the significant growth of the Washington, D.C. office, it has been reorganized into two groups led by Martina Driscoll and Travis Green.

Mr. Lemieux, a WJE principal, joined the company in 1996 and has been WJE's Washington, D.C. unit manager since 2006. He leaves that position to focus full-time on the growth of the company's international business as Director of International Business Development. In this endeavor, he will work full-time alongside Petar Plemic, WJE Director of International Operations. Mr. Lemieux will be based in Washington, D.C. and will serve global markets from that location and from our Northbrook, Illinois, headquarters.

Since joining WJE in 1997, Ms. Driscoll, a principal with the firm, has played a pivotal role in the development and success of the Washington, D.C. office as an engineer and building enclosure specialist. She has performed numerous investigations and provided repair designs and construction observation services for a variety of materials and facade system problems. She currently serves on the WJE Board of Directors.

Mr. Green, a WJE associate principal, joined the firm in 2000. Since transferring from WJE's Atlanta office to Washington, D.C. in 2006, he has successfully led the development and expansion of the local structural engineering practice and will continue to serve in that role. His experience includes structural investigations, evaluations, load tests, and repair designs for numerous bridges, low- and high-rise commercial buildings, and parking structures.
