Metallurgy Experts Join WJE

WJE is pleased to announce that metallurgists Bernard Schulze and Robert Warke have joined WJE as associate principals in the Janney Technical Center, located in Northbrook, Illinois. Their years of metallurgical experience will play an active role in the development of this practice at WJE.

Mr. Schulze comes to WJE from Stress Engineering Services, Inc., where he was a staff consultant. Previously, he was a principal metallurgist and group manager of the structures laboratory at CTL Group. Mr. Schulze has over thirty years of experience in materials and metallurgical engineering, serving a broad range of industries, with an emphasis on the development and support of mechanical integrity programs for chemical and petroleum processing equipment. He has a bachelor's of science in metallurgical and materials engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Mr. Warke also joins WJE from Stress Engineering Services, Inc., where he was a staff consultant. He brings thirty years of diverse metallurgical and welding engineering experience in industry and consulting, with an emphasis on the analysis, prediction, and prevention of failure as well as engineering education and applied research and development. He holds a bachelor of science in welding engineering from LeTourneau University and a master of science in metallurgical and materials engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
