A fellow of the American Concrete Institute and ASTM International, Dr. Carino is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the International Concrete Repair Institute. He holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a master's degree and a doctorate in structural engineering, all from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
