Senior Associate Joins San Francisco Branch

WJE is pleased to announce the addition of Juan Carlos Araiza, PhD, to the San Francisco branch as Senior Associate. Dr. Araiza has over thirteen years of design, construction, and research experience related to the evaluation and dynamic assessment of historic buildings and existing structures.

Dr. Araiza has extensive experience in repair and rehabilition, seismic analysis, finite element modeling, and retrofit design. Dr. Araiza holds a PhD in structural engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Spain, where he conducted historic preservation research for various buildings located throughout Europe. A former professor of structural engineering at the University of Colima in Mexico, Dr. Araiza also served as a structural preservation consultant to the National Institute of Anthropology and History in Mexico.

Dr. Araiza's valuable insight and professional work experience will enable him to provide exceptional service, technical excellence, and cost-effective solutions for clients nationwide.
