Experience

Matthew Salzer joined WJE in 2017, specializing in building enclosure consulting and evaluation of building fenestrations. He has gained extensive experience on a broad range of projects relating to construction observation, field quality assurance, facade failure investigation, rehabilitation, condition assessment, and evaluation of new and existing structures. Mr. Salzer has also been actively engaged in field testing for air and water penetration resistance—both in a forensic capacity and in the context of new construction—using ASTM and AAMA voluntary guide specifications and test standards.

Prior to joining WJE, Mr. Salzer worked as a project manager for a commercial glazing company, where he was heavily involved in the oversight of project deliverables and schedules. During his time there, he gained extensive hands-on experience and familiarity with various fenestration systems and metal wall panel systems.
