Frederick W. Peters

Experience

Frederick Peters has extensive experience on a broad range of projects relating to construction observation, field quality assurance, facade assessment, condition assessment, structural investigations, and repair and rehabilitation design. He has broad-based experience with various building materials including concrete, masonry facade, cast stone, natural stone, aluminum and glass curtain wall systems, EIFS and roofing and waterproofing assemblies. Mr. Peters’ responsibilities have included assistance with the investigation and development of repair drawings and specifications, construction observation and building enclosure commissioning, and performance testing. He has performed structural investigations and performed nondestructive testing including IR thermography. While pursuing his master’s degree, Mr. Peters worked closely with the Pennsylvania Housing Research Center and the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency. He there developed his thesis on the optimization of construction techniques to increase ADA accessibility, energy efficiency, and structural durability in residential construction.
