Experience

Amy Gelsone specializes in building enclosure commissioning, investigation, repair, auditing, and testing, with a project history ranging from Italy to Hawaii and across six climate zones. Her expertise includes design review, performance criteria development, site observation, failure cause/extent analysis, and litigation support.

Prior to joining WJE in 2015, Ms. Gelsone provided enclosure investigation and commissioning services as part of a New York- based commissioning firm as well as at a building science consulting firm in Houston, where she also engaged in energy systems commissioning and audits, structural historic preservation, field testing, and LEED consulting. She has provided design services and LEED coordination at both small and international design firms for commercial, institutional, and religious projects.
