How do I get a job at WJE?
Apply online and your resume is sent directly to our recruitment database. Your qualifications are then carefully assessed relative to position requirements. If there appears to be a good match, you will be contacted by a member of our staffing team to schedule a phone interview.
What are the steps in the hiring process?
After the initial phone interview, if it appears that your interests and qualifications are a good match, Human Resources will schedule interviews with staff members who are with the department where the opening exists. The next interview may be a phone interview with the unit manager followed by face-to-face interviews with the staff and manager of the unit. Our goal is to make the interview process as convenient and as informative for you as possible. (Reference checks, a drug screen, and a background check will be conducted upon an offer of employment.)

What can I expect to do at WJE during my internship? Will I get real work?
At WJE, you can expect to be challenged and supported by our regular staff members with real work in a very technical, fast-paced professional services environment. You will be given professional assignments tailored to your educational level and academic background. Many of our interns accompany staff into the field to assist on forensic investigations. They may even travel for out-of-town work assignments.
Is there potential to be hired as a full-time employee after I complete my internship and obtain my degree?
Yes. The purpose of the intern program is to engage potential full-time employees in a meaningful work experience that allows both the intern and WJE an opportunity to evaluate mutual "fit" for a potential full-time offer at the end of the internship.
Will WJE be recruiting on my university campus?
We will be on selected campuses throughout the year to meet with and introduce interested students to our outstanding company and the world of forensic engineering and architecture. If you’re interested in WJE but don’t see your university listed, we encourage you to review the Job Opportunities section. There, you can find current information about open internship and full-time positions.
